Salary Range - $60,856 - $97,494 per year (dependent upon qualifications)

Outstanding Career opportunity exists in Human Resources Management with Broward County government. Broward County Human Resources is a multiple award winning agency having been the recipient of awards from the National Association of Counties, the Florida League of Cities, the National Association of County Information Officers, and the International Personnel Management Association.

Human Resources Officer is a unique and exciting position which provides HR generalist support to an assigned Broward County operating agency while receiving support from our central Human Resources Division. The primary duties involve attracting and retaining a stellar staff; providing classification and compensation advice; and providing counsel regarding labor-management relations to agency management. Other duties may involve delivery of training programs and special projects as assigned. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in all areas of public sector human resources

Job Requirements


Education, training, experience:
Requires graduation from an accredited four year college or university with major course work in human resource management, business or public administration and four (4) years progressively responsible experience in public sector human resources work, specifically in conducting public sector staffing activities; performing employee/labor relations in a union environment; and conducting classification/ compensation administration; or any equivalent combination of training and experience.
